“Going on tour with Donavon was a stellar experience. We’ve been friends for a long time and both have a passion for music and photography, so when he asked if I could go on tour, I was on board.” Sherman said. “As an artist myself, I hope to bring fans closer to the stage and share the experience. This takes ‘I’m with the band’ to a whole new level.”

Or, the sound the metal plate in your ankle makes when you tap it, while you’re watching friends surf? Or, the sound of your first wave after nine weeks’ recovery? Or, the sound of a faint pop in your other ankle, on an awkward landing after only eight weeks back in the soup? And then, finally, the sound of torrential Gold Coast rain outside, as your doctor tells you it’s a grade three tear? Ryan Callinan knows all these sounds.

Bad Bad Not Good is a digital short that details his experiences over the last year-and-a-bit.

Whether you’re hooting and yew-ing the night away in a jampacked theatre or chillin’ at home staring at the computer screen, there’s just somethin’ awesome about witnessing a perfectly cut mash up of progressive turns and timely tunes. HEY! International Surfing Day is this Wednesday.

What the #%$& is that, you ask?

Fair question. We’ll spill the beans.

In short, #ISD is a whole day for ocean lovers around the globe have an opportunity to come together in celebration of the glorious sport of surfing. You know, like, coordinated and whatnot. Think about it. A day to celebrate surfing. Sounds to us like the perfect excuse to ditch summer school, play hooky from work or wiggle your way out of whatever obligations you currently have. Do it. 

To rejoice in this glorious occasion, our friends at Innersection (led by renowned filmaker Taylor Steele) are releasing a fun little number called HERE & NOW. It’s film based around a collective day in the life of the world’s best surfers. Yes. Really.
